Ingredients Glossary

Shea Butter

She contains a high concentration of fatty acids and vitamins that makes her an ideal ingredient for softening skin. She also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties and can condition, tone, and soothe your skin. She's really the MVP of the skincare game.

Avocado Oil

She's rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents. She nourishes like a warm hug from mum and tells skin to stay smooth, strong and improves elasticity and skin tone.

Sweet Almond Oil

She is an excellent emollient and is known for her ability to soften and re-condition the skin. She's jam packed with vitamins A and E and if you're anything like me and my eczema prone skin, you two became friends a long time ago. She can help to heal sun damage, reduce signs of aging and fade scars (like those well-earned tiger stripes everyone has).

Coffee

She gets the award for the best all rounder. Her caffeine content helps with cellulite reduction, she's full of antioxidants, has anti-aging properties, reduces inflammation and is antibacterial. And she tastes delicious mixed with milk as my morning cappuccino (don't eat or drink the scrub though K).

Fractionated Coconut Oil

She leaves skin feeling silky and smooth without a greasy aftereffect. She provides a soothing topical barrier for dry and irritated skin without clogging pores (unlike her unfractionated counterpart). She is full of saturated fatty acids that are perfect for antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties.

White Kaolin Clay

She benefits your skin by sloughing away dull, dead skin, absorbing impurities in your pores and leaves your skin wonderfully soft. This baby will help detoxify and clear your pores (so make sure you read the directions and leave her on for 5-10 minutes).

Pumice Stone Powder

Goodbye nasty microplastics, hello volcanic glass! Did you know that pumice is volcanic glass formed from lava or magma and is a naturally occurring element? (...she says as she pushed her glasses up her nose). But anyway, enough about her cool history, she is the queen of exfoliation and gently removes dead skin like a boss.

Matcha Powder

It ain't easy being green but this babe makes it look pretty damn good. She is antibacterial and contains high levels of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) which reduces inflammation and evens skin tone. Her composition packs in the antioxidants and helps with the reduction of acne and increases skin elasticity.
